Dr. Jeffrey Harry Oppenheimer, MD

Dr. Oppenheimer went from a brain surgeon to a back surgeon. Quite a difference from what he did years ago. I still have no doubt that this Dr. was the reason my Dad passed away from a brain aneurysm. That is probably why he is doing back surgery now. He was the most insensitive Dr. that I have ever met.

I have 3 severely herniated disk from c4 to c7. My insurance company sent me a list of neurosurgeons who was in my network and that's how I met with Jeffrey Oppenheimer. He said I needed surgery, otherwise, I will have permanent damage in my neck. We started to schedule the surgery day. Unfortunately, the facility he wanted to do the surgery in was not in my network so we filed a single case agreement with the insurance company to make it happen. Least that's what they told me. I called his office every week for an update and his staff told me we to wait for an answer back from the insurance company. But after 2 and 1/2 months, I found out they lied to me and never filed my case. I was angry at that point, but I tried to move forward. I contacted the nurse and told her to file my case again for real. Once they did, she told me I had to wait for the doctor to renew his license with the facility. A week later they told me the doctors got his license, we should be moving forward.… But now we just have to wait for a Pier review So we can schedule my surgery date. I called them for weekly updates. Two weeks later they told me, unfortunately, we cannot schedule the surgery date because his License was denied. So they lied to me again. After that, his staff apologized and told me they cannot help me so I have to find another neurosurgeon. They wasted 4- 5 months of precious time, KNOWING that my disks are getting worse by the day. Don't go to this office or if you do make sure you check everything they tell you, because they will lie to you!

When I first spoke to Dr. O. In Oct. 2016, he said that he could repair the damage to my lower back, L2, L3, L4, and L5, and repair my sever spinal stenosis, and would do it wth 4 thumb sized cuts, as opposed to a spinal fusion. After surgery on Nov. 23, I went from severe spasms that knocked me off my feet, to a complete cure. I am 72, work again full time as a Pharmacy Tech, and recently shot a lifetime best of 37 on the back nine at our local golf course. Thank you Dr. Oppenheimer. Normalcy has been restored to my life.

I drove so far in pain to see this insensitive doctor. All I got from my exams was being insulted and treated with the most disrespect. Dr. Oppenheimer and his staff are so arrogant and unprofessional. I felt I paid for this doctors visit for a day of arrogant remarks. This doctor has the "God complex" in this Doctor is so bad, if you feel are "talked at" instead of "talked to", very condescending attitude. And the front desk staff is rude and disorganized. The office was in a small chiropractors office very unprofessional. Since there are several practices at the same suite, no one is directing the patients properly to the appropriate practice. Appointment was very long and MRI was not reviews properly doctor spent most of his time talking and laughing in another room with someone I could hear. Staff couldn't even download my MRI correctly to begin with...I will not be back ever again very poor bedside manners...

My pain in my right leg is gone

My mom was in a terrible accident hurting her back. She was soo miserable. I just wanted to thank Doctor O. Her surgery was a few months ago and she is back her normal self. No pain anymore! Thank you! You are a miracle worker. Bless

The only issue I had was my first visit, one of the doctors was off and they got behind, so I waited almost 2 hours to see the doctor. That was just the first visit, every time after I was with the doctor within 10 minutes. The entire staff was kind and answered all my questions. Dr. Oppenheimer was kind also, answered all my questions without seeming like he was in a hurry or that I was being a pain. He even took time out of his busy surgery day to remove my drain when I just showed up.

Dr.Oppenheimer is great. He told me exactly what was wrong, how he would fix it and he did. I spent 3 years in pain chasing a solution and Dr. Oppenheimer had it the whole time. The surgical center and their staff are top notch. I could not be happier

Dr. O you are awesome - thank you so much for making me pain free after months of suffering.with the pinched nerve in my neck. You and your staff are wonderful!! From the minute my husband and I walked into your office we knew I was in good hands! You use the most modern technology and you and your staff are number 1 in my book!.
