Dr Burke did a great job and I had a quick recovery!

Dr Burke completely reconstructed my spine with new hardware after cleaning up the arthritis in 9/2006. I was then able to reduce the amount of pain medicine taken daily. I was in horrible pain and had little quality of life before the surgery. A few years before this I had consulted another spine center in Baltimore who told me there was nothing to be done in my case. Dr. Burke and staff listened to me, did a complete evaluation and worked with me. In their eyes, I was not a lost cause! I was a person with a complicated spine that needed help.

Hes a great doctor very polite concern about his patience he has done a number of surgerys on me.

Dr. Burke is my hero!!! After 3+ years of constant back and leg pain with nerve issues, receiving 3 years of shots at the Spine Center and seeing another back surgeon, within 6 weeks he operated on both sides of my L4/L5 and my pain is completely gone. I had a bone chip on the right and compressed discs on the left. My first surgeon kept trying to pinpoint my pain and couldn't . When Dr. Burke saw me, he was direct, did his thing and I feel great. I can't praise him and his staff enough!!! He is the 'go to' doc! THANK YOU!

It's been a few years now but Dr. Burke definitely deserves a pat on the back. when every other doctor I saw about my spinal injury just wanted to treat the symptoms or just cut me open not having made a proper diagnosis Dr. Burke was the only one out of 9 (yes that's right 9) who took the time to actually diagnose my condition. He was also the only one who seemed interested in fixing my problem. after two years of excruciating pain and and having to use a cane just to walk I found Dr. Burke. Within a week of my initial visit I had the much needed operation and was back on my feet walking like a normal human being again and off of all pain medication. he struck a balance of the least invasive and most effective operation for my condition. Dr. Burke made it possible for me to live life again and return to work within a month and I owe him the most sincere gratitude. I wish I had found him as soon as I was injured.

Extremely professional staff. Very well run practice. I was impressed with everyone. Dr. Burke knows what he's doing. I feel as though I'm in very good hands. His PA is top notch.
