Dr. Michael Lawrence Wolak, MD

If you want a good surgeon, see him. If you want to talk a lot about your feelings and be coddled, he’s not the one for you. I have only had excellent experiences because I don’t care about his bedside manner - I care about a good safe spine surgeon and he did a perfect job on my back.

He has zero bed side manor. He was the most uncaring physician I have ever encountered. He was arrogant and just an all around As*. I have worked in medical field for 20 years and have never seen such an uncaring physician. He lied to our faces and blamed me for my sons ill fitting neck collar. My son was hospitalized the entire time, so his staff and the rest of the staff at 3 different facilities are to blame.

Told me my herniated disk has nothing to do with the numbness and tingling in my left leg. Also read my chart he typed after my visit he twisted my word about what other Dr have said. He also said we spent 60 minutes face to face I was in and out of my appointment in about 15 minutes.

Cried after my appointment. He made me feel like I was stupid for going to get his opinion, wasted his time, and he also put down a past doctor I had gone to. Would not recommend going to him.

I was crying after my appointment. With Dr. Wolak. His bedside manner is horrible and I left feeling more confused than when I came in. The only good thing that came from my appointment was a referral to another specialist. I would not recommend Dr. Wolaks services to my friends or family. I have never written. A review until now. I hope this helps you choose the right doctor. .
