Agree with others... Terrible bed side manners, gives no more than 5 minutes max with patients, if that. He would often start walking out of the exam room while still saying something, so even if you had more questions, tough luck. He's gone. Extremely rude. Once had him see me in the hospital (not by choice, he was the Dr on call), he walked in, said "any changes? No? Well there's nothing more we can do for you.", and walked out. I'm sure he charged for that time. Would not see him again even if he was the last doctor in OC

I have never been as disappointed in a doctor as I am with Dr. Stewart. He was very unpleasant to my mother, for whom English is a second language. He was curt and dismissive when she asked questions to try to clarify her understanding of what he said, to the point that she was afraid to ask anything of him. He threw medication at her to mask her symptoms rather than do the work to actually diagnose the root cause of her illness. Once, when insurance denied a medication, she had a friend (who works in healthcare insurance) call his office to ask about appealing the denial because she was afraid she wouldn't understand him. He called my mother at 9:30pm at night to yell at her for sending someone to question him. He had her in TEARS, which was just the last straw. Thankfully, we were referred to a competent and caring pulmonologist who is doing incredible work to improve her quality of life.

Terrible bad side manner My first appointment with him he came in the door and said “Well, you have it!” He diagnosed me with IPF and said “Theres no Cure”. I had no idea of what I had? It was very cold and almost rude. Never shook my hand or even tried to explain my diagnosis. He prescribed Predazone and said see you in 30 days. He did mention a doctor at Cedars Siani that was a specialist in the field. Needless to say I went to see him and have been under his care for four year. A wonderful Doctor and worth the drive. Dr Paul Noble. Never went back to Dr Jack. I did write the name of the specialist and am greatful he mentioned it in passing.

he need to make more money, DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU ,, i had a terrible experience after 1 year be under his care, thanks god i change dr on time ...

Hi, been to this dr. twice. The 1st time he told me he wanted to do some testing, meds he stepped out of the room to see another patient and came back after 30min. and changed his words. I thought ok, maybe it's a 1 time thing. The 2nd time I was there the same thing happened. He sent me to do a ct (per my request as my issue wasn't solved) and ive been trying to reach his office for over 2 weeks to get my results & no1 is returning my calls! Ive left tons of vm, even asked the front desk lady to stop transfering me to vm, but she is so rude and as soon as she hears im calling about results she cuts me off and sends me to vm. I don't like their customer service and I don't trust his skills, I will be changing dr.

As a new patient, Dr. Stewart fit me into his schedule on a Friday when it was imperative that I was seen for my condition. He was personable and to the point with a hint of humor. During an unpleasant procedure he was kind and compassionate.
