Dr. Jack Richard Traylor JR., MD

Dr. Traylor apparently already had a plan to treat my breast cysts before I entered the clinic. I had discussed what needed to be done with my gyno and my insurance before being referred to this doctor. I have dense breast tissue and a family history of breast cancer. The cysts in my breast are golf ball size, causing it to be impossible to do a good mammogram. I have had the cyst drained before and it is very painful and causes me to be very sore for quite some time. I want them removed. When this guy stepped in the room he felt of the cysts, and insisted that I lay back on the table and let him drain them that day. I explained that I did not want them to be drained I wanted them removed. He insisted that my insurance would not pay for that, and took me by the arm to lay me down. I had to say STOP I do NOT want them drained. He did not want to listen to what I had to say, and pretty much walked out of the room. My insurance will pay to have them removed. I have already talked… with them about it. Why would an insurance want to pay a doctor to drain something that has already been drained and keeps coming back?? I will NOT pay the copay to this man. I even called and ask my insurance to not pay for the office visit.

Dr Traylor explained my problem and breast well, he didn't over look anything but to do a triple checking me as high risk patient ; he has great manners and is caring doctor I've never in my whole life had a doctor who took time too pray for his patients before going into surgery. He has a prayer life ; he's been around a long time knows his stuff. As nurses kid I know and older docs recommend him !

Very poor bedside manner. Was made to feel like I shouldn't ask him questions, and when I did ask questions he would dismiss them and proceed with whatever he had planned to do before i had even arrived for my appointment. Was told by multiple people of his very poor bedside manner and communication with patients and their family.

wanted to run unecessary tests before my surgery/non the less I received a second opinion and have already had my surgery and recouping well. I had to call back to gets reults or make an appointment
