Dr. Jack Waxman, MD

I've been seeing DR. Waxman for the last 4 years. He is through and a competent doctor. He is treating my RA and without him I would be in terrific pain. I hope he never retires.

Dr Waxman was very rude and condescending. He came across as a cranking old man.

Been going to Dr jack for years,simply the very best in his field .lucky to have him watching over me.

Waxman is condescending, incapable of listening to a patient, insists on mansplaining and refuses to hear anything that could be relevant to a patient's treatment. He literally yelled over my attempts to tell him he didn't have the information he was assuming (and was horribly wrong about). When I couldn't defend his assumptions he chose to lash out at my PCP for being incompetent rather than listen to me. He concluded I wasn't "worth treating until I had lost at least one organ system." Horrible, useless provider. Not worth the gas it took my Prius to get to the appt.

Had read reviews, mixed, some where quite negative.... don't know why. I found him knowledgeable, had sense of humor. We had an hour with him. We left with a plan of action. He was very thorough. I have a complex disorder. Would recommend!

Dr. Waxman explains things thoroughly and without hesitation. He is very honest with you about your diagnosis and what you should or could do to improve. He seems to be extremely well read and up to date on his specialty more than any others I had seen for the same problem. Like his sense of humor also and his staff.

takes 22 insurance, "Mill" clueless doctor, no concept of micro biology, he's knowledge is from the 70's, he's picture here is 25 years old. Help your patients "Retire"

I saw Dr Waxman four years ago for two different appointments and I just scheduled an appt. with him for next month. When my PCP referred me to a Rheumatologist aprox. 8 years ago I started seeing Dr Kremer. A few years later I decided to find a new Rheumatologist, there were only two in Santa Rosa at that time. From working in pharmacy for many years I had heard a few comments about his personality, but since everyone is different I didn't let that bother me.It's not always the Dr that is problem. I went in with an open mind, a good attitude and my list of questions. I left his office extremely pleased. He diagnosed two very potentially serious conditions that I was unaware of and Dr Kremer should have caught, and he acknowledged the fact that I did have another condition that Dr Kremer couldn't be bothered with and is part of the reason why I am now permanently disabled. I wish I hadn't wasted those years with Dr K. . Dr Waxman is brilliant and his mind is very quick. He does… have a sense of humor and is compassionate. I highly recommend him.

I was referred to this doctor for my arthritas. He is very old fashioned, but the drugs he gave me initially worked. I had extreme acute pain in my shoulder joints beginning of February. I called his nurse, who told me they don't see patients in acute pain, and that I needed to see my primary care physician for pain meds. I had my regularly scheduled appt. with him about 1 month later. I told him what happened and why I didn't see him sooner. He raised his voice at me and called me a liar - his nurse never said that! Also shook his finger in my face! He said that we always tell patients just to increase their regular meds. First of all, I am 53 years old, and have no reason to lie. And no doctor needs to raise his voice and treat me like I am two. Standing up for your staff is one thing, but this was beyond bad bedside manners. He also gives you exactly 15 minutes - even if you are in mid-sentence, he just gets up and leaves.

went to see this dr for a rare disease. was put on meds that are known to cause weight gain. he yelled at me for gaining weight, wanted to find out more info wanted tests ran was yelled at and told no, to just stay on the prednisone! offered no help in my condition in fact I progressively got worse. called office to report symptoms was told to call my cardiologist, told receptionist I didn't have one and that he was treating me for symptoms I was calling to report to him she told me to call my primary care physician and hung up on me! I had another stroke, the Dr. and his receptionist sucks!
