Absolutely wonderful doctor. Takes his time diagnosing the problem and cares for his patients. Always have a great time visiting him in his office for an appointment. The kids just love him and enjoy visiting him for appointments because they know he makes them feel better. My 2-year-old daughter has been a patient of Dr. Gilliard since she was 4 days old. My husband and I think he's great and our daughter has always responded very well to him. He starts and ends every appointment by asking if we have any questions or concerns. What I especially like about him is that he doesn't immediately jump to prescription drug treatment like so many other doctors. He recommends more natural care, like particular types of food, liquids or vitamins. I've always appreciated that about. My only negative is that the wait time once you arrive (on time!) for your appointment can be really long. I've waited an hour during a well baby visit! If you chose him as your child's physician, be sure to bring a snack and some toys or books to keep your child occupied while you wait because there aren't too many things in the waiting area for younger children to play with.
