Am autistic and wanted custom earplugs that I could use at work and in social settings like restaurants and even concerts. The earplugs didn’t fit, I sent in detailed photos and text explaining why, but when I finally got the new earplugs they were ridiculously worse— I had asked for one to be larger in a certain area and the whole earplug was almost a third of the size of the original instead of larger. The other didn’t fit at all either. Paid a large sum of money for me out of pocket for them (make just barely above minimum wage so it was a hard thing to do) and have to throw them in the trash because they don’t fit at all. Apparently there was a time limit on remakes that was not explained at any point (the time limit to note issues with the original pair was stated but not a time limit for the remakes) and I wasn’t able to test them in time because I had to temporarily relocate to another state to take care of a family member. Waited over a year for a follow up message.
