During a recent miscarriage she was unable to provide the incidence rates of complications of the available options. She refused to look them up. I requested mifepristone along with my misoprostol as this is the standard of care in much of the developed world and can increase the likelyhood of passing all products of conception by as much as 25% per a review in NEJM the previous year. She refused this as well and I am now 2 months later finding out I may have retained products of conception. I only know this because of a follow up ultrasound that I suggested and pushed for. She wasn't even going to look. After I called the office to transfer out of her care both she and her nurse called me which I found to be extremely innappropriate. I was very clear with both the office and nurse that I did not feel safe under her care nor want to continue under her care. She was very terse and condescending during the call and it was clear she was aware and had chosen to call me anyway.
