Summary
Dr. Jacob Henderson received his Bachelor of Science degree from LSU in Baton Rouge. He then earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from LSU Dental School in New Orleans in 2002. After successfully completing both the Louisiana State Board exam and the Western Regional Examining Board’s competency exam, Dr. Henderson began private practice in New Orleans and the North Shore. He furthered his knowledge in children’s dentistry while working in a pediatric dental office, and has also provided dental care to the impoverished regions of Jamaica.Â
In keeping with his committment to excellence and continuing his education, Dr. Henderson enrolled in the prestigious Misch International Implant Institute completing his surgical training for the placement of dental implants in 2008. He soon then achieved Fellowship status at the Instiute and additionaly earned a Fellowship in the International Congress ofOral Implantologists. This has allowed Dr. Henderson the ability to offer his …patients more options when restoring their smiles and function.
Dr. Henderson is a native of Central. He enjoys spending time outside of work with his wife and two daughters and supporting LSU athletics.
