Dr. Jacob Kenneth Peters, MD

Before Dr. Peters no one in the valley or surrounding areas would service the poor on straight MED-I_CAL. Dr. Peters received $5.27 for med-i-cal patients. Never ever turning anyone away. Now the surrounding Clinics received $100 or more for just walking through the door. In Dr. Peters office a physical is performed every year, creating a health baseline. Teaching everyone to take care of the whole body instead of just treating parts. Each day the best is performed in the office. Thank you for your service Dr. Jacob Kenneth Peters.

Dr. Peters arrived fairly quickly to assist me in te consultation room. However, upon entering he did not greet me my child or my mother. Rather, he was cold and rigid through the entire consultation. In fact, when it came to checking my child's ear canal, eyes, mouth, diaper rash, etc he treated my child as though my child was an object. He was very forceful, did not speak to my child to try to comfort while checking him. Dr. Peters forcefulness caused my child to act in frustration and began wiggling and crying. All while Dr. Peters leaned against my child's legs with his bottom torso area against my child ( it was strange, I've never seen this before). Note: my child has seen 2 other Dr's and has never responded as he did with Dr. Peters. Anyway, I had to ask Dr. Peters what he believed my child had because he only listened and scarcely replied to any comments I made regarding my child's ill state at the time. I wouldn't recommend this Dr. He comes off rather rude and… robotic. Certainly felt a disconnect.

I was impressed with how well run the office was. I found the staff to be very accommodating and Dr. Peters to be very caring and attentive with my child. I was very pleased with the service we received. My only complaint would be that on multiple visits I have seen other patients become rude and angry about having to pay for their treatment. I think Dr. Peters might try to help everyone, even people that have no means to pay their bills - which I suspect is the reason for the negative reviews I see on here.

First of all his staff could never get my child's name correct and were not very nice.Now about this Dr. he has no bedside manner what so ever. He could care less why my child was there. I really don't know how he is still in practice.

first of all the docter didnt even introduce himself. He didnt seem to care about me or my child. He was in a bad mood. I didnt feel cared for or felt like going back.
