I would not recommend Dr. Tauber.

If you want the best in the field, Dr Tauber is it. Like anything in life, the best comes with a price. Dr Tauber is a very sought after orthopedic and is very busy. I have seen other orthos and there is no one in the office. Few staff members and no wait...Dr Tauber's office is full. And yes, I waited. Like the best restaurant in L.A, you wait. Or you can eat at a chain restaurant. I am most interested in my shoulder injury and if I have to wait for the best doctor, I'll wait. I went to 3 other specialists and all 3 wanted to do surgery. Dr tauber took 30 seconds to look over my MRI's...he asked me if I was ok with trying 6 months of intense rehab....he advised me that surgery would fix the issue 100%, but years down the line, there may be scar tissue from surgery, and the possibility of future problems, along with more pain. I chose rehab and have never looked back! Dr Tauber sees me about every 6 months for a follow up and checks the motion, etc. Looking back, I feel the other… doctors only offered surgery for their own financial gain. Having a top rated and skilled doctor take 3 minutes with me, is better than a less skilled doctor spending 30 minutes with me!!! Thank you Dr Tauber!!!

My first review about him was really awesome. Upon our second return/2nd appointment WE realized that he is the complete opposite of what we believed him to be on our first initial visit. On our very first appointment with him was so wonderful. He appeared to be very concerned and had great bedside manners as was very caring. We were scheduled to see him again to go over MRI results. On our second appointment he was completely RUDE. No bedside manner's at all. He spent less than 5 minutes with us. He was so quick to rush out of the room and was not thorough with the MRI results at all. He only cares about you at the first initial visit. Needless to say; we were extremely disappointed and so upset by his rudeness. He was a completely different person from our first appointment that we had with him.

He was very, very good. Very pleased and he has wonderful bedside manners. Very professional & very personable. I highly recommend him. He is a genuine doctor.

This doctor is not good at all. He needs to retire. He has poor bedside manners. He does not treat you like a person at all. Go somewhere else. He has you waiting in the office for over an hour and you only see him for about 5 min. Stay far away from this place people. He has a rude staff just like him. So listen to me and stay far far far away from this place.

This doctor has no bedside manner at all. He spends no time talking to the patient, and has hospital staff scared of him. He used the wrong size implant on me and surgery had to be re-done.

If you enjoy being treated like a piece of meat, go to this doctor. He spent a total of 5 minutes (that's it!) with me and didn't know the details of my case and injury. He basically told me that I was wrong. I started to cry and he didn't acknoledge how upset I was and he just walked out. I've NEVER been treated so poorly by a doctor. He is the WORST doctor I've ever seen.

I don't usually leave feedback, but I found it interesting that some patients complained that he did not spend alot of time with them. I was delighted that he has the ability to quickly access and diagnose my problem. THe less time I need to spend in a medical office is great with me. I felt very comfortable with his friendly, easygoing manner.

Dr.Tauber is terrible. He barely spent two minutes with me, and recommended surgery. I got a second opinion and was told surgery was an extreme recommendation for me. He obviously wants to do surgeries just to make money. Avoid this guy

Dr. Tauber was extremely helpful from the get go helping me understand the risks of the injury I had. He was very courteous and took the time necessary to help treat me. He was very accessible for follow up visits.
