Dr. Jacobo Leopoldo Santolaya, MD

Dr. Jacobo Santolaya specializes in gastroenterology and pediatrics, bringing a decade of clinical experience to his practice. He earned his medical degree from Rutgers University - The State University of New Jersey, followed by residency training at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in 2019. Dr. Santolaya completed fellowship training at UT Southwestern Medical Center in 2022, further specializing his expertise in pediatric digestive health. He is fluent in both Spanish and English.

Dr. Santolaya practices at the Children's Health Specialty Center in Dallas, Texas, where he focuses on treating young patients with digestive disorders. His clinical expertise includes managing celiac disease, constipation, and digestive bleeding issues. Dr. Santolaya is actively involved in research studying how intestinal cells affect metabolism and the gut microbiome, as well as investigating inflammatory bowel disease treatments.
