Dr. Jacobus Benjamin Hugo, MD

Dr Hugo was the plastic surgeon I chose after getting two other consultations. He’s was extremely compassionate and explained everything in detail. I received personal calls from Dr Hugo post op to check on my recovery and how I was doing pain wise. I fortunately never felt the need for pain medication. I was beyond pleased with my surgery and would highly recommend Dr Hugo.

Vitals.com is a scam that let's any idiot write about anything they want and publish it without any ability to address the reviews and claims of anyone who types up anything they want. They sold out their ownership to WebMD so all contact information is wrong and inactive. So since WebMD are now the owners you would think that you could contact them. No phone number is listed and they do not respond to emails. This whole system is a fraud

Over the years, I have been to several estheticians in hopes of reversing the damage I have done from foolish years of tanning. And more recently, I have been to different RNâ??s for injections to smooth out the lines. But I never felt that there was a genuine focus on what was really needed to get me to the point of feeling satisfied and happy with the results. It was always just an in and out situation, no real discussion or plan. Not the case with Dr. Hugo and his staff. They have consistently proven to me that they are truly concerned about their patients needs and want to help them feel great about the way they look. They listen, they ask questions, they discuss options, they take pictures, they take notes, they want to know how you feel about your results. They show you that they care. Taking before and after pictures seemed so important to me. I could never understand why that wasnâ??t done by the other clinicians I went to. Itâ??s such an easy step in todayâ??s digital… world in order to show your patient the results from what they had done. Another easy step is taking notes. Never had that with the others. But with Dr. Hugo and his medical staff, I feel that when I get repeat procedures done, they know exactly what to do because they took notes from the last time. They know what worked and what maybe didnâ??t. They got me to the look I wanted and can check their notes on how to keep me there! Dr. Hugo and the wonderful ladies with him are all very serious about protecting your skin from the sun, too. And because they have worked with me through different procedures, given me advice on what to use for a daily regimen, and cheered me on through short spurts of discouragement, I am now SO thrilled with my skin and appearance. No sun necessary! Iâ??m glad a girlfriend of mine turned me on to Dr. Hugo a couple of years ago. It's great to have finally found a group with whom I can trust and feel comfortable and know will keep me happy with the way I look! No more jumping around from place to place, Iâ??m set!

I had abdominal lipo about 10 years ago by Dr. Hugo. The result was a bumpy mess. He kept telling me it was swelling and I finally gave up arguing with him. Well, 10 years later and the bumpy swelling is still there! I'm also convinced that plastic surgeons are trained to say "turns out I took out a lot more than fat than I thought I would" after liposuction procedures. Looking back, I would still have it done, since I looked better in clothes. But I wish I wasn't now shopping around for a second procedure...

I visited several docs before deciding on Dr. Hugo. Some of the other plastic surgeons with whom I consulted acted frankly silly. Dr. Hugo knows exactly what he's doing. Eyelid surgery was virtually painless and the results are fantastic. I healed in no time and I have no scars. Can't believe the difference. I would do it all over again and I would recommend him without reservation. Staff is fantastic! I'm planning another procedure soon.

Excellent, from the first minute of my thorough consultaion until the procedure was completed weeks later.During the recovery stage, Dr Hugo and his staff are as attentive as they were during the procedure. More to come about the final results, as I am presently at the center of my recovery period.
