Quite surprised at the few negative reviews. Has always taken great care off my family and friends. Wait time is pretty long, but worth the wait.

I had been to three eye specialists who misdiagnosed the reason for the blind spot in my right eye. Dr. Gabay diagnosed me with low tension glaucoma and began treatment. Prior to seeing her, I had annual glaucoma tests that were within "normal" range but the range was bad for me. She did two surgeries (at separate times). After each surgery during which she actually changed my vision and the eyes were seeing 20/20! I had worn glasses since childhood due to being very nearsighted with astigmatism. The vision change lasted almost 10 years. I'm wearing glasses again but not nearly as strong a prescription. In addition to the cutting surgeries, she had to perform a couple of laser surgeries later. She sees me every 3 or 4 months and orders 2 visual field tests a year. She has worked with me to find the ultimate best drops to manage my glaucoma and my fields have remained stable. I feel very comfortable with her and credit her for saving my vision.

I was operated on by Dr. Gabay 0n Thursday in May 2015. I had problems with pain in my eye. The Dr. did not fully understand or was to busy that week end to follow through> After repeated calls. Sunday 10AM trip to the ER my IOP was 40 with massive retina hemoraging and detachment from the back of the eye . Shock set in. It is coming up on 2 years later and my right eye is not functional. If she was busy that weekend she should have had a covering Dr. for the weekend for her patients that just had surgery and need help. I will never forgive her for destroying my retirement years that I spent years planning. I warn everyone away from PES and Dr gabay when ever possible. R.W.H. Disgusted

2015 I had Surgery done on Thursday on my right eye. Friday Post Op, "The surgery looked good". told Dr. that my eye ached and was scratchy. By sunday morning I was Blind in my right eye and in extemem pain. A year later of the 20% of vision that I have got back even that is poor. Why didn't my Dr. send me to an on Call Dr. Does PES keep a Dr. on call on nights and weekends for surgery patients who are in distress.

Excellent doctor, have been visiting her for several years and will gladly continue seeing her for many years to come

Here's the thing, they may be good at what they do but they take it for granted that their patients are predominately above 60 and don't mind waiting for 45 mins plus and won't complain. My appt at 10:10 am, got there on time, I did not see the dr still at 12:30. They said they were busy - the truth is they inappropriately way overbook to their benefit. Not a good way to run an office, they should be ashamed for taking people's time. This was the third time I had a similiar experience - it's an eye factory, patients on the conveyor belt. how can a dr give good care if they are slammed with overbookings all day. I would urge clients to go elsewhere.

Always VERY long wait past your appointment time - minimum 30 min, sometimes over 1 hour.
