Dr. Jacqueline Nicole Judd Flack, DO

I chose Dr. Judd-Flack because she is supposedly a holistic practitioner. I went in feeling brain fog, fatigue, overweight (with no improvement despite several different diet and exercise attempts), and heart palpitations. She was quick to run standard blood tests, but that was about it. I had to do my own research which I discussed with her and to which she dismissed every time. She was pleasant but I had to repeat myself at visits and even after I explained that I was down to less than 1000 calories (mostly salad) and exercising 45-60 mins, 5 times a week. All she (and her rude PA, Sarah) suggested was Weight Watchers and weight loss medicine (which I didnt want to do because I was breastfeeding at the time). For my heart palpitations, she sent me to the Selma cardiology group for a heart monitor (found out later that standard practice is to do a stress test first) and echocardiogram, and never met the cardiologist to review the results or discuss treatment. I stopped going after 2.5… years of not feeling better. I have since found a great doctor who was able to diagnose me with Autoimmune Disorder within the first few visits, by listening to my symptoms and running targeted blood tests. Within 2 months of treatment with my new doc, has a treatment plan; I've lost 40lbs; and my brain fog, fatigue, and heart palpitations are gone!

Dr. Judd-Flack is not very understanding or flexible, as she asked to have me reschedule an appointment when I arrived five minutes late and had to wait in a long line before I could have a turn to check in at the reception desk. I drove 30 minutes to my appointment and had traffic delays on my way. During my previous appointment she could not keep simple facts straight that I had told her a few minutes before. This doctor made me feel bad on that occasion also because when I arrived that afternoon, there was a long line to check in, which kept me from starting my exam at the scheduled time. She mentioned that she had to hurry through my new patient visit because of the late start. If this practice has so much trouble with being understaffed that patients have to wait several minutes in line before checking in, the physicians should not take it out on their patients. I will not be returning to Selma Medical.

Dr. Judd-Flack is so friendly and warm. This is not all, however, both times I have seen her she takes the time and energy to be very thorough and answer all questions. She is an excellent Doctor.

I don't really have anything nice to say about this doctor. She had a negative attitude toward me from the moment she walked through the door of the exam room, like she had a chip on her shoulder. I felt like maybe she didn't like senior citizens. She certainly didn't treat me with any respect and really didn't listen to anything I had to say as to why I was there. And to make things worse... a few days before my follow up appointment, I received a letter from her practice that they did not want me as a patient and I was not to be treated any further in their office. No reason was given. I felt like I was being discriminated against. Apparently this is not the first time this has happened at this particular practice. This was a "form" letter" and the hospital staff refers to this anomaly as "The Selma Shuffle". This "Selma Medical Associates Inc." group has done this to many other patients dozens of times before me.
