Dr Jacqueline V. Tran, MD

Dr. Tran is unpredictable! When I first started going to Dr. Tran I thought she was great. She was doing all the right things like spending time explaining my condition and my meds, then she made a 360 with no warning. A number of weeks after I had been in the hospital with a very serious illness she seemed to become restless or something bc I had to cancel an appointment with her office (it was only a check up) bc I had other serious things going on with another condition stemming from the same illness at the time. A short time later she had her office assistant get in touch with me and asked if I could make an appointment to “make up for the cancelled one.” I was still very sick from the other condition I was experiencing then. I couldn’t return the call at the moment and not more than a couple of days later, I was no longer a patient! Dr. Tran acted like a toddler and I was no longer welcome as a patient. SO UNPROFESSIONAL. She left me without a Neurologist when I was really ill and… needed one. I can usually read people very well but I sure was wrong on this one...

I have never felt worse in a doctors office. My face was actually hot with heat, embarrassment, and frustration. I saw Dr. Tran for a multitude of symptoms I was having including the following but not limited to: Body pain all over, numbness and tingling in arms and legs, IBS, extreme menstrual cycle problems, overactive bladder, nausea, weakness in body, fatigue, extreme back pain. I am 20 years old, was an athlete and full time student, and my health has been horrendous. I was very excited to see a neurologist and hopefully get some answers as to why I was in so much pain and discomfort. Dr. Tran, after reviewing my symptoms, suggested that nothing was wrong and that it could potentially all be in my head! After suggesting I see a psychologist or counselor to “relieve” my symptoms by being counseled, she stated the entirety of my health problems could be related to PTSD. She said “your mind is very powerful and it isn’t impossible you could be cured if your mental state is fixed” .… My parents sat in with me and they too, were baffled. To suggest such a thing when a YOUNG adult is going through such traumatic times, while juggling a full load, 18 units of university, blows my mind. I saw a rheumatologist and was actually diagnosed with fibromyalgia and fissures in my spinal discs. So thank you for the embarrassment and shame for nothing! Surprised Dr. Tran is qualified to do what she does.

This Dr. accused the patient saying it is all in the head, because she could not find a reason or diagnosis to the patient's health issues. Going to this dr. was a total waste of time . Did not have good bed side manners, and at times rude to the patient and talked in an admonishing manner.

I would highly recommend Dr. Tran to anyone that requires treatment within her field of practice. She and her staff are prompt and professional. My experience in office felt safe and relaxed. I am a grateful patient.

Dr Tran was very prompt and warm in introducing herself. She conducted an extremely thorough review of my record and conducted some additional tests during the appointment to get a clearer picture of my problem. She then scheduled other tests to assist in coming up with a diagnosis rather than jumping to conclusions without adequate data. She was pleasant, understanding and sympathetic to my concerns. She also had me schedule a follow up after completing the additional tests to discuss findings. Very professional.

The worst bedside manner...ever!!!
