May 1999 I had an AVM aneurysm and another doctor at another hospital told my husband it was inoperable. My husband moved me to Jackson Memorial Hospital. It was there Dr. Morcos absolutely saved my life. I will always be eternal grateful to him.

Dr Morcos is an amazing surgeon. When I was diagnosed with a meningioma, my first thought was “Lord please help me”. I was referred to Dr Morcos and upon meeting him knew that he was sent by God. My surgery took many hours and was successful due to the expertise of Dr Morcos and his team. As the lead neurosurgical operating room nurse in my local hospital I was referred for my complicated craniotomy for an orbital and temporal tumor and the same name was repeated - Jacques Morcos at UM. Whenever the other surgeons in my hospital asked who was doing my surgery they all knew Dr. Morcos' and said I was in "great hands", he's "awesome", "the best" and "he's handled incredibly difficult cases for my patients over the years with wonderful results!" He put me at ease with his kind and caring manner and took time to explain my surgery and answered all my questions unhurried. My "complicated case" was not complicated for Dr. Morcos, just another day in the OR! I had a 2 night post op stay and went home, very little discomfort (seriously!) Choose him for your neurosurgeon with confidence! By the way, he very sparingly removes as little hair as possible for the best cosmetic result. I had a 6 inch incision that was not visible to friends and coworkers.
