Dr. Jacquin Ann Coombs, MD

The BEST OBGyn I’ve ever had! She truly cares about her patients. Shes one of those that still remembers everything about you each time you visit and I loved our chats at every visit.

Prepare to wait forever

Let me preface this by saying that I’m an RN so I work closely with physicians daily but Dr. Coombs is the rudest physician I’ve ever encountered. Unfortunately she was my OBGYN for all of 2 weeks before I switched to a different physician. I shouldn’t taken multiple signs that this was a negligent and bad medical practice when 1. There were no patients in the lobby for my first appointment. 2. Her receptionist caught an attitude while making the initial appointment. 3. When she went to do my pelvic exam she used a speculum that was NOT in sterile packing (metal so not single use). 4. There is no onsite lab or even ULTRASOUND! 5. Hoer secretary said that the physician had been trying to reach me due to my lab results… I had zero missed calls, voice messages, or emails. 6. Her receptionist still didn’t know my copay by the time I left so she just charged me what she hoped it was while still on hold with insurance (this is to be done before a patient even enters the lobby to confirm… copay and that the physician is within network). Long story short, I went to her because I needed OBGYN services on short notice and she was able to see me within less than a week. Definitely not worth it. SHE HAS ZERO BEDSIDE MANNER. With that said, find better. This place is not it.

Dr. Coombs, I’m so glad I found her. I lost contact with her after Hurricane Harvey, but I searched for her high and low. She is honest, caring, and she makes her patients feel understood and at the end of every visit I felt all my needs were met. Never have I ever felt rushed or judged. Dr. Coombs is the truth, in other words, she’s the real deal, doesn’t get any better.

There is literally so much I could say about her, best doctor and just genuine person EVER. SO incredibly knowledgeable, and talks to you the whole time about anything and everything. She makes me feel extremely comfortable. I had my first baby delivered with her and unfortunately had to go to someone else for my second baby....4 years later I'm back and she remembers not only me, but my life and family as if we were family ourselves. I would go just to talk with her once a month if I could...would recommend her one million times again and again.

I've been experiencing horrible cycles. She has been such a gem in helping me get better. I'm truly appreciative of her wonderful care. I've referred some coworkers to her.

I love Dr Coombs and have been awaiting her return. I’m so happy to have her back. I wouldn’t see anyone else for my ob/gyn needs.

Then the ball drops. Dr. Doesn't have time for you after you leave. I felt like I wasn't important because all she had time for were c-sections. No offense to women that need them. She just has too many pts she cannot care for all of them. I had to keep calling them for lab and ultrasound results. Plus I had to call everyday because the doctor would not look at my chart to help me. Ridiculous!
