I am so thankful to Dr. Jafar Jafar. He is an excellent surgeon! He had wonderful bed side manner. He removed a brain tumor and saved my face from facial paralysis. Very skilled and knowledgeable.

This man is a phenomenal surgeon, he removed a tumor from inside my spinal cord. He was kind and caring and made sure that I had everything in place to recovery properly. If it were not for him I am not sure where I would even be today. He really gave me a second chance

He was my chief surgeon for a brain AVM situation. He opted to go with Gamma Knife Radiosurgery which turned out well and for me at least was more preferable than opening my skull open and physically going in to remove the malformation. Like others said the after care was barely there. Post surgery had more symptoms than before so it was scary. All in all it was mostly successful. Mostly because the AVM is not entirely gone but it has shrunk significantly. A lot of my hair did fall out, lots has since grown back but its not the same anymore. It is much thinner and wavy where it used to be thick and straight. He does seem to have a bit of an aura of super star surgeon which can be off putting in other people but not necessarily in your brain surgeon!

Operated on my husband , was able to remove enire 5cm tumor, but once that was done, did not care at all about after care. WHen you call his office there is no covering service, he was angry, arrogant and down right nasty when had to answer questions. Due to his protocol we had no visiting nurse and my husband ending up back in the hospital for 10 days, resulting in other complications. I would not recommend Dr. Jafar

I had a ruptured brain anuerysm and DR. Jafar saved my life. I am now 100% back at work with no physical or cognitive side effects. He was very attentive and always available for me.

This doctor saved my life not once but on two seperate ocassions. When other doctors were ready to give up on me, he tried all kinds of new techniques and stayed with me until I recovered. I consider him my hero.
