Dr. Jagar Abdullah Jasem, MD

Dr. Jasem: good communication, excellent bedside manner, explains test results, answers all questions/concerns. Good role model for ALL UCHealth doctors. And a nice person.

Dr. Jagar Jasem is "Top of the Line" when describing my meetings with him. He is always prepared to discuss findings from blood tests, etc.. Dr. Jasem always provides insight for me to understand where I stand at that moment with what is going on with my blood disease in addition to a plan going forward. I leave my meetings with Dr. Jasem with optimism and confidence about the future.

I’m 73 and and I can confidently say that Dr Jasem is the best doctor I’ve ever had in my life. Knowledgeable, honest, professional, compassionate, and genuinely cares about getting his patients feel better!

I am shocked by the two reviews below. Dr. Jasem has been wonderful to work with. He explained my diagnosis of DLBCL non Hodgkin lymphoma very clearly. He then went over treatment options and explained them so I could understand. We chose together what would be the best choice for me. I have always felt like my care is a priority. He called me while on vacation to go over my PET/CT scan results. What doctor does that? Dr. Jasem! He also called me one evening to calm my fear about something I read on the internet. He is kind and patient. In every meeting he demonstrates his knowledge, skill and caring. I am in remission right now. I am very grateful to have him as my oncologist!

Save your time, your money and your health by not making an appointment with this doctor. Truly does not care about his patients nor does he possess the skill set and knowledge to be treating patients that have undergone chemo. He should know that there can be so many long term effects, but he will clearly showcase the inept ability to fathom that well known and data driven information. He will dismiss his patients need for help because he lacks the knowledge when he should collaborate with his colleagues to seek more information so he can treat his patients appropriately instead of turning them away. Honestly, too many doctors are taking an oath with an arrogant attitude without having the ethics and compassion to help their patients.

He is condescending. I asked him how chemo can affect my bone health since I now have osteopenia and menopause at age 40 and broken 3 bones. He called me and was very defensive at the start and said it’s not related and you should follow up with a pcp for your diabetes and hypertension. I did and I don’t have either I have neuropathy and brittle bones from chemo. Not looking to sue anyone just looking for help
