Dr. Jagdish Patel, MD, FAAP

Absolutely appalling this man still has a license. I gave birth at Providence East and was given horrible attitude and service because I was refusing all of their medication. (Pitocin, epidural, antibiotics and even IV) This was my 3rd birth and my previous have been no intervention all natural and that is the way I love my births. I get that those drugs are thousands of dollars but, it is not needed when you know how to breathe and listen to your own body. Anyway, very rude since the beginning. My daughter was born super happy and healthy and I asked to be released that evening. Due to protocol we had to stay 24 hours so I made no fuss. Next day comes around and they take my baby to NICU to run her tests and they did not allow neither me nor her daddy to go with her. (“COVID”) They come back and she has 2 slashes,cuts, deep scratches on her heels and tell me she did not pass her heart test. They finally allowed me to go see her but made me wear a mask, even though I had not worn one… throughout my labor. I walk into the NICU to see only my baby in there and 2 nurses WITHOUT a mask. Yet I had to wear one to see my own daughter? It made no sense. Anyway the test numbers looked like she had passed to me but what do I know right? At this point it’s been 24 hours and they are now saying it’s protocol we stay 48 hours. I asked to sign an AMA (Against Medical Advice) so we could leave. My mommy instincts were kicking in at this point already and I just wanted to be home and see my other two big babies, who were also very anxious to meet their baby sister finally! So our nurse, C (I’ll keek her full name private) , came in and said Dr.Patel said if you sign that and leave against his advice to stay another 24 hours he will call CPS for neglect. I could not believe my ears. The nurse felt so bad and said he was having a power trip. Apparently at our expense. I know my rights as a parent and I know my children are very well taken care of and all he was wanting was the money so I signed the AMA and left. Fast forward 5 months and I’ve taken my baby girl to MY dr and have confirmed she is 100% happy and healthy, as I knew she was. Dr. Patel did in fact call CPS in 2 different states to locate and attempt to kidnap my children. After investigating and working with our case worker he was happy to see our baby had a APGAR score of 9/9 which is 100% passing and therefore had NO reason to say I was negligent in any way. He has since been reported to the Tx state board. How can someone do something so horrific to a Family and how many times has this been done? I highly recommend families to go elsewhere and to stay away from this family of Doctors.

Very poor service i talked to Veronica there manager they have many kids sick and just 4 doctors! They should close this place there service is 5 clients before you at the same time all of them!

Dr. Jagdish Patel is a caring, meticulous pediatrician who was phenomenal for our two young children while we lived in El Paso. He is very understanding of military families and his attention to detail is second-to-none.

The Patels are amazing at what they do. We've been with them for nine years and we don't trust anyone else with proper diagnoses and care of our three children. Dr. Jagdish Patel is caring and kind, always gives thorough explanations, and takes time to answer all our questions and concerns. I will say, however, I am not too fond of the relatively new nurse practitioner they brought on board. She comes off as rude and made the appointment feel rushed.

I've jumped around to multiple pediatricians so when I finally decided to come to Dr. Patel it was because many of my friends kept recommending him. I live about 45 minutes away from his office but from our first visit I adored him. He greeted me, acknowledge my concerns and overall gave me the proper time I needed. He is a very patient doctor who makes time for his patients. I didn't put a waiting time period because it just depends. I know we all have an appointment and wish doctors would attend us but I remember that he always gives me my time to ambush him with many questions. All I can do is be patient myself because he does care and he does listen.

Dr. PAtel is amazing with the kids very nice service at the office and as well at the time of the child birth

The only disappointment in the office is the front desk the older lady with black hair. I had questions and she did not made the effort to help very rude I did call the office to speak to the office manager to voice my concerns I would hate for the doctors to lose patients due to his unprofessional employee they are excellent doctors!!

Truly a great pediatrician.. I was only in El Paso temporarily but I must say I was very impressed with Dr. Jagdish Patel. His knowledge and care are exactly what expect for your child. As new parents his support and attention were greatly appreciated. He carries a great reputation amongst the residents of El Paso and I was curious to see if he would meet my critical way of thinking, frankly he exceeded it and I understand why parents are so grateful for his care. Highly recommended!

Dr Patel is amazing....very impress with my first visit with my newborn. I highly recommend him. The only bad thing about his office that I noticed today was his front receptionist...Very very rude person it's too bad she's the face of the office she doesn't acknowledge you when you are talking to her. the back staff great.
