Dr. Jaideep Chunduri, MD

I am about 5 months out from L4-L5, and L5-S1 Anterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion surgery performed by Dr. Jaideep Chunduri. I had endured pain for several years; it was affecting my ability to work efficiently, and simply walking for any length of time was impossible. In 4 years, I endured a dozen back injections, 5 MRIs, a PRP injection, Physical Therapy, a chiropractor - nothing relieved the pain that radiated from my butt down into my legs. Spinal Fusion surgery became the only option left to me. After surgery, once I was able to get up and walk down the hall in the hospital I realized - the pain was gone! There was, of course, discomfort from the incisions and some stiffness, but the pain I had endured for years was gone. The pain I experienced directly from the actual surgery was minimal, and pain meds were unnecessary after about 1+ weeks. Now, after post op physical therapy and 5 months of walking around with my new back, life has returned to a painless normal. I continue to look… forward to work and future travel. Dr. Chunduri and his staff are remarkable. Dr. Chunduri has a great bedside manner and takes the time to explain what he is going to do. Bridgette, his PA, gives very detailed instructions and answers questions in a manner that instills trust. Michelle helped me with some problems that arose with scheduling. I have since recommended Dr. Chunduri to friends and family. My experience with him has been nothing short of a miracle.

I typically do not write reviews, but I had to write this one! I spent a year with severe Sciatica pain. Meds were useless. I went to numerous chiropractic sessions, performed daily sciatic exercises, and even received a spinal steroid injection. I still had absolutely no relief. I just wanted to cry daily with the pain. I was finally referred to Dr. Chunduri who diagnosis me with a cyst sitting on my sciatic nerve caused by arthritis! Well, who knew?! Thank God Dr. Chunduri did because I was losing my mind trying to deal with the pain. Dr. Chunduri and Bridget Williams, PA were able to remove the cyst and perform a spinal fusion to prevent future cysts in the area. My sciatica pain was gone immediately after surgery. The only pain or really soreness I had was the incision. The shooting pain down the back of my leg to my foot was GONE! I felt amazing. Nope, it wasn't the drugs because I was off all pain meds within a week surgery. I did exactly what they told me for… post op recovery and my spine fused by month 4. Now, I cry tears of thankfulness and pure elation. I am back to being me! I can’t thank Dr.Chunduri, Bridget Williams PA, and the entire staff at Beacon Orthopedics enough. Wow, what a journey. After years of fussing with pain in my neck and dysfunction, meds, shots, chiropractors, therapists and other another neurosurgeon, I finally researched and found Dr. Chunduri and his team. From the moment I met him and his team, I felt like ,"here is someone who gets what I am trying to explain about what I am feeling." He was a teacher to me in what was going on in my spine and very explanative of every step. PA Bridgett was just as good. They made me feel like part of the team. Six months out to the day of surgery, I was fused. Yes, there is still more recovery to come. My neck will never be perfect. However, at this point, I am extremely happy with the results. My dysfunction is gone and so is the pain.

When you have a Spinal Fusion such as I had, you come to expect the best possible surgeon and recovery you can get. I found that person at Beacon Orthopedics and Dr. Jaideep Chunduri and his medical staff have been the best from start to finish. Today I am 4 months out of surgery and also finished out of 8 weeks of Physical Therapy also at Beacon. I have very little pain left in my lower back and I can thank only Beacon for everything. If you want the best, then Dr. Jaideep Chunduri is rated one of the best in Ohio.

Dr. Chunduri is very thorough during the initial consultation all the way to the post surgery follow up visits, answering all questions asked and explaining all of the medical procedures in 'laman's terms' which makes everything easy to understand. His staff provides the same level of service as he does. I highly recommend Dr. Chunduri for orthopaedic surgery

My experience with Dr. Chunduri his staff and his PA Bridgette has been a extremely pleasant one, I felt comfortable from my first appointment with the doctor and his PA. Everything about the surgery was explained in terms that was easy for a non-medical person to understand and every question was answered to my full satisfaction. I was a bit reluctant at first about neck surgery but after meeting with them I felt totally comfortable, I knew I was in very good hands and had no worries about the outcome. the surgery was a total success and I haven't felt this good in over 5 years. Dr. Chunduri and his PA, Bridgette, are EXCELLENT and I highly recommend them! I had major anterior and posterior fusion surgery which was difficult, but their expertise and care made the experience so much better. They are THE best!

I would not trust anyone else for spine care. Dr. Chunduri and his team is the best! I had a spinal fusion last year and I can honestly say i feel like a new person! They gave me my life back!

I met Dr. Chundri after being referred to him by my family doctor. He spent all of five minutes quickly running through the explanation of what was going on with my spine and said that I needed surgery on the L5 S1 and possibly the L4 L5 vertebrae. I told him that was fine and if insurance approves it go ahead and book it. Then told me I had to have this procedure called a discogram. He explained it to me but failed to mention it would be extremely painful. So I looked up what is done during a discogram and it looks horrifying. I change doctors and decided this time to go with a neurologist. I asked the neurologist about the discogram and why Dr. Chinduri won’t operate without it but you operate without it. He looked shocked when I told him that. He told me that it is the most painful diagnostic procedure you can put a patient through and this procedure can end up causing more damage. I was taught to go with my gut and my gut was telling me to go somewhere else. The surgeon I have is… very nice and he seems to actually care about my health and he listened to what I had to say.

I came to Dr. Chunduri in debilitating pain from a herniated disc. He was truly a rock star in getting me back on my feet. He and his NP Bridgette spent a great deal of time explaining the surgery and recovery. As you might expect, I had a lot of questions and they answered them all. I couldn't be happy that he gave me my life back!
