Dr. Jaime Arbona, MD

I have been suffering with 'brain fog' for a very long time and have seen MANY psychiatrists and counselors. Psychiatrists usually push the meds on you without spending the time to get to the root of your problem and many counselors I've been to just don't have enough medical knowledge to go to a certain level that is needed in a lot of cases. Example, not one therapist had heard of brain fog! making me feel crazier. Dr Arbona knew what I was talking about and is walking with me down the path to feeling better, starting with meds and talk therapy but also teaching me very effective breathing techniques. He knows how our brains work! He is the most knowledgeable, gifted, focused, straightforward dr I've ever been to. While blunt, it is for your own benefit ;) making you walk away with an 'aha' moment. I cannot thank him or recommend him enough

Belittling and body shaming is exactly what this doctor did to my son. Dr. Arbona needs to take a long look in the mirror and he needs to reevaluate himself as a professional. He needs to listen and step back once in a while. He has done more harm than good. Thankfully we are under the care of someone who we consider to be a professional.

Dr Arbona started seeing my son for his Autism tendencies ...between his support Son graduated Magnet program started college and left town and is working.In all that he saw me to deal with family issues I had swallowed as a child and got me through dealing with my son being a single mom and my own personal issues.Yes he might appear lil rough on the edges but how else is he going to help you break down that wall. Miss my sessions with him

Dr. Arbona saved my life. He helped me to understand my childhood abuse and its connection with my problems in adulthood. His knowledge, insight, understanding and talent are priceless. He will be always in my heart as a very significant person who improved the quality of my life. I recommend him to my whole family. Also, being treated by Dr. Arbona was the best financial investment I made in my life. He is a precious jewel.

I wrote a review before now I can't find it; it is spot on with diagnosis; I am 54 years old and have seen several psychiatrist in my life; he is the first to diagnosis OCD (severe); he is very punctual; to the point; can be harsh; we did not get along personally; I think he may have OCD as well; but he is no nonsense and excellent with diagnosis.; overall rating 4

Worst psychiatrist in el paso, disrespectful and crazy

I have been taking my daughter, who is adopted, to Dr. Arbona for almost 8 months. He is extremely prompt, professional and knowledgeable. It is amazing the insight he has into the issues my daughter is facing as well as things we can do to support her and help transition her. Appointments are able to be scheduled out months in advance, we never have to wait and in regards to the last comment we have seen numerous children in the waiting area. Perhaps your children were a disruption to the office environment and that is why they were not allowed in.

Excellent professional. You may find that he says things that you do not want to hear, that will make you angry. But, they are accurate and provoke you to analyze the behahvior, the root cause, and if anything, to prove him wrong. Amazingly, you end up feeling better about yourself, which is what matters. I highly recommend him.
