Dr. Jaime Alejandro Mercado, MD

I am the patient and I referred my sister. My sister was having a belly ache for weeks. After several visits to other doctors plus her PCP they told her it was gas. The pain continued to be unbearable for her, she loosed ge appetite and had nausea. so I called Dr Mercado and they made an immediate appointment to see her. When she arrived Dr Mercado examined her and immediately sent her over to the hospital. He knew It was serious and called the hospital to expect my sister. She was admitted immediately for an emergency surgery for an almost ruptured appendix. My mother loves Dr Mercado and trust him including my sister too. He is very thorough and you are very comfortable and feel safe with him. The staffs are very polite, professional and patient too.

My appointment with this OBGYN was a waste of time. Literature about women's issues were no where to be found in this OBGYN's office. I had to wait forever after I arrived for my appointment. They were running really behind and I was disappointed because it threw off the rest of my day. It seems Mr. Mercado if we can call him a doctor has a self esteem issue. He wants to show his superiority and tries to belittle you. I spoke to him in English and told him what procedures I previously underwent. He told me what I explained to him was wrong and that I should speak Spanish with him because I don't understand the English language. Wow what a professional. Instead of trying to help me with my medical condition he was more concerned about the language I spoke with him.

Dr. Mercado is a respectful , kind and caring professional He came to me highly recommended by 8 patients including my sister. I felt safe and very satisfied while under his care. I would and have recommended him to friends and family in a heartbeat. I have been under several different doctors care and he has been the best In my opinion. Great sense of humor and bedside manner!! We are lucky to have him in out community.

Super rude! Bullied into having a cesarian section, completely unnecessary. Emotionally damaging child labor. Seek another doctor!!!

I felt really disrespected with the way he talked to me, and how he adressed my concers. Add the 1hour+ wait time and it was a nightmare.

has been my doctor for over 15 years. I would never switch because he is so courteous and a very very good doctor. staff is very friendly. ok wait time.
