Dr. James Everett Agee, MD

Dr. Agee found my cancer tumor in my bladder after looking at the X-rays for the kidney stones. He has been taking care of me for over 20 years. Very caring Dr., always asks me about my family. Dr. Agee is compassionate and caring. He went to great efforts to diagnose my husbands rare cancer. We highly recommend Dr. Agee.

Ultrasound showed that I have a large stone in my left kidney. I asked dr Agee if he could shatter it with sound waves. He said in order to do that, I should get a ct scan. It showed that the stone was 7 mm. I asked him again whether he could shatter it. Well, he said in order to do that, it must be seen on an X-ray. So I had an X-ray of my kidneys taken. His office never called me to inform me of the result. Finally, after 5 weeks, I asked him about it during an appointment, he said that the stone could be seen in the X-ray but he would not shatter it because it was not blocking anything. What a waste of my time, money and unnecessary lab tests.

I have no confidence in Dr Agee and his ability in finding out what is wrong with me. He is all about taking money from patience and insurance companies by running tests from the lab and not about asking questions, learning what is wrong or examining the patient. I will not return to him and would never recommend him to anyone I care about.

My wife and I had problems with Dr. Agee several years ago, when I had a question as to what options we had for my wife if current surgery did not solve her problem. Dr. Agee proceeded to go ballistic and call security to have me removed from his office. He then refused to continue treating her, refusing to remove her drain tubes attached to her Kidney I think call a (Stint). All though this was not life threatening it was very uncomfortable for her for the 3 days she had to wait to see another Doctor. I would recommend finding another Urologist, one who does not behave like an animal and one who cares about their patients.
