Mom has dementia and I wasn’t permitted to go back with her. Dr. Alley knows mom needs help. Nurse was rude. Upset

Dr. Alley refused to refer my mother for a colonoscopy for 6 months--even though she told him that she had had polyps before; it had been almost a decade since her last colonoscopy; and she's over 60. I had to accompany my mother to an appointment and demand that he give her a referral. I should NOT have had to demand routine screening!!! Guess what, she has colon cancer, and it's advanced! He has terrible bedside manner (he did NOT even ask who I was or for my name!), is sexist, and is negligent. He's a terrible dr. Avoid seeing him at all costs!

Excellant treatment for a first time visit on a very busy Monday!! Nurse Reba was very kind and informative on what to expect from Dr.Alley. On my first visit Dr. Alley ask many many questions in reference to my past medical. He even went over my past medical records with me. He did blood work, did an EKG, 2 chest X Rays and I also got a flu shot. He gave me plenty of time to explain myself and took measures to schedule much needed overdue exams!! I'm very pleased. The office staff deserves a thumbs up too!! I look forward to adding another review in 3 weeks!!
