Dr. James Leonard Anastasi, MD

Dr. Anastasi has been practicing for a long time. That’s why it baffles me that he would misdiagnose my mother. She was his patient for years. She trusted him. I went with my mother a couple of times to her appointments. I let him and his staff know that they were dealing with an alcoholic. He kept prescribing her pills that had adverse reactions when taken with alcohol. Pills and more pills is what she received when she went for appointments. Never did he talk about her poor nutrition and alcoholism leading her down a path of self destruction. He also missed that she had colon cancer! She was stage 4 when we finally learned about it, and it was far too late. Years and years or having bad bowel movements after each time she ate. Never once did a colonoscopy! I directly blame him for her death. Don’t go to him if you care about your health. He is a pill pusher. Nothing more.

Dr. Anastasi treated my Mother in Law and I was very impressed with the overall experience. My husband and I switched and are very happy with the Docter, the staff and the prompt response if we have a health issue.

Dr. Anastasi gets the highest marks! He always takes time with his patients. He listens carefully and pays attention. He has very broad information and is up to date. There are times when I have to wait, and that is ok with me, because I know he is spending quality time with another patient, just as he does with me.
