I had hemorrhoid surgery by Dr J Young. I hadn’t had a bowel movement in 5 days called the office number to get the doctor on call. It was Dr Baker that called back he told me to do a enema. He was very short with his answers when I ask him questions. Still had not gone to the bathroom. So my daughter called back that afternoon. He said he had done that surgery for 30 years that it was very unusual that someone would become impacted. I ask about going to the ER he said they wouldn’t do anything for her. To do another enema. She did and nothing we went on to the ER. After the enema in a lot of pain. They did a X-ray, rectal,and blood work. They said they would call Dr Baker. The nurse came back and said he had spoke with Dr Baker he said to up the Miralax and to do two enemas a day. Dr Baker never came to the hospital. Still in a lot of pain two days later. Spoke to Dr Young’s nurse told her what Dr Baker said to do she said we never tell our patients to do a enema after this kind of… surgery. Evidentially Dr Baker don’t know what he is talking about.

Dr. Baker literally saved my life in 2017 after performing a colonoscopy that was scheduled because of some stomach issues that I had been having. After finding nothing significant during the colonoscopy he took the extra step to perform a CT scan of the upper and lower abdomen to see if he could find any other issues that may be causing the stomach problems. He found nothing causing the stomach issues but he did locate a tumor on my left kidney. He referred me to a urologist and after a biopsy it was found to be cancerous and my left kidney had to be removed. Without taking the extra step which located this tumor it would have gone un-noticed and probably would have led to my demise. Thank God he took the extra steps to locate this.

He reversed my colostomy and I feel that gave me a new lease on life. He is very nice and a great doctor. 10

Would recommend Dr. Baker. He has done 2 surgeries on me and he is the best!

Horrible Bedside Manner. Rude to Patients and Families.

I would recommend Dr. Baker to anyone with colon cancer. He removed my tumor with finesse and left me a new person. I have only good things to say about him.

Wonderful surgeon. Helped my daughter with her schedule of being there for her to be there, she is an RN and an Attorney. Very, very kind to me.

Dr. Baker probably saved my life from ulcerative colitis.He may not have a good bed side manner, but he is an excellent surgeon. My entire colon was removed in 2003. He created a "J-pouch" for me which has worked ever since. I would recomend him highly.

am now 20 years from colectomy and reconstructive surgery that saved my life! Dr. Baked is a remarkably skilled and caring surgeon.

I would recommend Dr. Baker to anyone, he is truly finaminal. He has a kind of dry sense of humor and gets right to the point, but he knows his stuff.
