Oral Surgeon James A. Baker, DDS Dr. Baker began his practice as an Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in 1979. He completed dental school at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas in 1974. This was followed by a residency in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery at University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center from 1975-1979. He has maintained a private practice in Oklahoma City since the completion of his residency and achieved certification by the American Board of Oral Maxillofacial Surgeons in 1981. Dr. Baker served as Chairman of the department of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery and residency director in 1991-1992, and remains an associated clinical professor. Dr. Baker previously served as Chairman of the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery department of Saint Anthony's Hospital and Baptist Medical Center.
