Dr Balcom performed popliteal (back of the knee) artery bypass surgery on both legs. I feel very fortunate to have been in his care. Right from the start of the first appointment/consult. I was amazed at the knowledge and approach exemplified by Dr. Balcom. He is most serious about his profession, takes charges, no-nonsense strategy. He expects you to follow his protocol with no deviation which demonstrates he only wants the best results for his patient. And at the same time, he takes the time to understand your concerns and questions with direct and thorough responses. Throughout both procedures I could not help to notice the respect and admiration he was given by all. When he enters a room, his personality puts everyone in a good mood. In addition, his staff is superb and if you're his patient you will have the pleasure of working with Linda his administer.

Dr. Balcom has been outstanding in every aspect of my care and in each of my procedures. His attitude extends to his staff and all of the personnel he works with and they have always been caring and proficient. My wife and I moved last year and we have services within 5 minutes of our house but I won't change doctors. The 30-60 minute drive is worth it.
