The reviews on this page are so misleading. I jumped around so many doctors and no one knew what was going on with my illness. I saw Doctor Berman and he helped me manage my symptoms and was there for my mother with any questions she had. I am 27 years old now and I have been in complete remission for over 7 years after I had a bowel resection done. If you or your children are sensitive to how he may talk, than you should find another GI. He gives you facts and details. When I look for a doctor I look for someone who is going to help me no matter what. When you call 911 do the dispatchers cry with you? No they aren't there to make friends, they are there to help. The video he posted really does sum up how his office works.

My infant daughter had one appointment with Dr. Berman and I think he’s a reasonably competent clinician, but he has a really awful bedside manner. If you want someone to walk you through a diagnosis and take time answering questions he probably won’t do that, but I do think his years of experience make it reasonable to take your child to him for an evaluation.

No one should ever see this doctor. He refused to treat my son and was beyond rude. Never took the time. He was absolutely no help and was the worst doctor I have ever encountered. Save yourself

This doctor is rude and unkind to patients and families. He gave my son two minutes and would not answer questions we had about what my son was going through. He mentioned we should not be seeing a specialist despite our primary care doctor recommended we see one. Most of the reviews on here are accurate. Run.....don't walk from this doctor. It is a waste of time seeing him and dealing with his rudeness. This guy should get his license removed and any ACO he is affiliated with should get rid of him. He is a miserable, unhappy doctor that needs to go.

We have been working with Dr. Berman for over three years now about a month ago we got the ultimate success that the ulcerative colitis full remission My kid with all her antics and different lifestyle he worked with her calling them them always asking how the significant other was they prefer to be called a different name had no problem calling them by that name instead bedside manner as great as it possibly could be and to top it all off a wonderful person and Dr. see this man if your child is experiencing problems with the gut because Child should not be experiencing this Watch his YouTube video it really explains him and a wonderful doctor he is

Arrogant and rude doctor, UNWILLING to answer any questions that parents may have about their child's diagnosis or care. Highly recommend avoiding him at all costs.

Uneducated and a danger to children who have a secondary condition. Collects the insurance and unwilling to help even if he is the reason your child is getting worse and in grave danger. Please protect your children from him, please. I wish someone had warned me now the new doc has to reverse all the damage Dr Berman has done and we are miserable
