Dr. James Alan Betti, MD

Dr. Betti is the most caring doctor I have met in my adult and military life. I've seen him over many years starting around 2003. There is no question: I am alive today because of this great doctor.

I don't usually comment on websites but I have to say Dr Betti and his staff made me feel very comfortable in some uncomfortable moments.

I have consulted with Dr Betti at least twice over a fifteen- or twenty-year period. Both were painful, but I suppose that goes with the territory. On the second occasion I had an elevated PSA, which he dismissed because he failed to recognize the generic term for my prostate medication. Luckily I caught the lapse. We then went forward with a biopsy, which was by all odds the most painful and degrading experience of my life. Perhaps for that reason, I disliked everything about the procedure, including the room in which it was performed, and which seemed to me dirty and untidy. Perhaps I am projecting an uncomfortable afternoon onto the physician, but I won't be seeing him again if I can help it.

Very professional, informative and answered all questions. I especially liked him after surgery when I realized what a great job he had done!

Not helpful AT ALL. Arrogant too...

Always brushing you off, doesn't take the time to listen to your needs.
