Dr. James D. Bruckner, MD

I would highly recommend Dr. Bruckner. His expertise made me feel at ease and very confident in having my hip replacement surgery done by him. His staff - front desk, PAs, x-ray techs… were all kind, professional and customer service oriented.

Dr. Bruckner, Stefanie who was my Nurse, Kathryn Miller, PA-C was the dream team for my surgery. My care team went above and beyond to ensure I felt comfortable during and after surgery. If you need a surgeon to address any muscular skeletal tumors, hip, or knee pain; I recommend Dr. James Bruckner. His Medical Assistant Debbie takes great care of each and every patient. I was not impressed with his surgery schedulers demeanor at all! Kristina J. seemed condescending and it took weeks to get a call back and scheduled for surgery. Instead of offering multiple appointments for post operative appointments that were available, she took it upon herself to decide what days and time my appointments would be. This created scheduling conflicts and also hard with getting a caretaker. This pushed my surgery out 2-3 months of being in consistent pain. Dr. Bruckner deserves a different surgery scheduler that will be kind to his patients and take time on the phone to call patients back in a timely… manner. That is the only complaint I had in preparation of my hip surgery. The surgery packet that was mailed out had false information about NPO and drinking instructions on the duration of when to stop eating and drinking. When policies change, the paperwork for a surgery should reflect this change immediately. This could put a patient at risk for aspiration during their surgery. It would be dangerous for patient care if I patient had done so and followed the NPO in the surgery packet that was mailed out.

Dr. Bruckner was able to provide me with the reason behind my pain and gave me the advice on how to relieve that pain. I was also very impressed with his whole team. All departments were timely and friendly. I was in out in no time and provided with exactly was needed.

Everything about the office was great. Good staff and very pleasant. Dr Bruckner told me everything I needed to know and answered all my questions so that I could understand. Dr Bruckner did my second hip snd its working great

Dr. Bruckner is amazing! I’ve had both my hips replaced with him and it has been an excellent experience every time. Him and his staff are all great.

Dr. Bruckner is the best. He listens, brings his A-game, gets right to the crux of the problem and makes helpful suggestions. My hip problem was better within days of my consultation. Also, the woman who checked me in was fabulous.

He is the best hip Dr! I had hip pain and been to many Dr’s, no one could find the problem. It was something I was born with and he diagnosed and did my first hips, now I am 14 years old on my old hips and again pain! He diagnosed and repaired with two hip “redo’s”. He is the nicest man and listens carefully to make sure he understands and surgery has gone very well. I recommend him to all I know
