Dr James Burks

Over the hill, arrogant, talked to staff not me. I was one of his patients 10 yrs.

Dr. Burks has been my Dr. For 23 years and I have no complaints only praises. If your looking for someone that cares and that will give it to you straight he's your man. He can be tough on you if he knows your slacking and he'll let you know when your doing great. In the 23 years I've been with him he hasn't changed his attitude towards patients and he's still as entertaining and caring as he was on day one. I recommend him to anyone who has diabetes. I'm a full blown type 1 diabetic who takes 4 shots a day and I've enjoyed 23 years of normal living with no big problems thanks to Dr. Burks always being forward with me.. I got diabetes at the age of 15 and have truly been blessed to have Dr. Burks as my Dr. Since then. Diabetes can be a serious disease if you let it control you but when you are in control its no worse then having to wake up and get out of bed. Burks is easy to talk to and even easier to understand, if your looking for a Dr. For your child or for yourself I'd advise you… to give him a try, he may be the difference maker for you as he is for me. Does not follow up ,takes a week to refill rx , Very rude ,dr burks needs to retire

I have never been trated as badly as I was at Dr. Burks office. I can't say that it was his fault - I never got to see him. Due to an error made by his office staff, my appointment didn't exist. I drove two hours and took a half day off of work for NOTHING!
