Dr. James Edward Butrynski, MD

Dr. Butrinsky is by far the best physician I have ever encountered in my 56 years, as a patient and as a former laboratory technician and CNA. I was diagnosed with a rare for of colon cancer, and he has been treating me for a year. He has been extremely thorough, communicative, informative, compassionate, understanding and patient with me. I actually look forward to my twice-monthly visits with him. Early on in my treatment, I had a pretty severe anxiety attack during a visit. He and his staff were so patient - helping me regain control while helping me maintain my dignity, and gave me the time to recover without rushing me out the door. I consider myself very lucky to have him as the oncologist who has seen me through this difficult time.

Dr. Butrynski is a model doctor in how he communicates to and cares for his patients. Excellent Dr. and great human being. Highly recommended.

I have a rare and untreatable form of chondrosarcoma, and Dr. Butrynski has been wonderful with me every step of the way. He doesn't sugarcoat, but he is extremely caring. His bedside manner is wonderful. He's very comprehensive with his course of treatment, answering any and all questions I may have (even if I become repetitive!) and does everything in his power to make sure I get the best treatment and am comfortable. He doesn't brush me aside, nor do I feel like I am 'just a number'. I feel very fortunate to have him and his team on my side!!!

Dr. Butrynski is an excellent doctor and he's so warm and caring. He treated my husband for a rare form of cancer called Sarcoma. Sarcoma affects people who are relatively young. Unfortunately my husband lost his battle with cancer at age 45. Dr. Butrynski helped my husband maintain a delicate balance of having hope, yet being realistic about the outcome. He spent a lot of time with my husband at each appointment and we never felt rushed. He's great with follow-up and he or his staff is always available to answer questions. You couldn't find a doctor with a better bedside manner.
