Dr. James Steven Cash, MD

My mom was a previous patient of Dr. Cash and from the previous reviews, I can agree that this Dr have not touch or examine my African American mother not one day out of more than 5 years.The only thing he have done was listen to her breathe, No exam EVER! His nurse is the only one that has physically touched her for weight and lab. When an office have to call you to change your appointment due to the Dr can’t draw lab from a patient, it’s bad! I agree with other reviews that the secretary does part of the nursing job and not licensed to do so. This Dr gives meds according to what you tell him to not what he feels you need per his diagnosis. Lying to patients, not giving patients what they need and doing what the nurse, secretary and other people in the office is very unethical and could also be deadly to patients one day. Sure the nurse is nice and they want to smile chat and have fun but this is a medical office and your health should be taken seriously. It’s not a joking matter… and things can go horribly wrong if the wrong meds are given due to the secretary or nurse said so. This Dr.’s office will bill your insurance and then bill you for the same treatment date. Bottom line is the secretary, the billing person and the nurse runs that office, not the physician. This physician and some staff members will lie and attempt to cover it up, but we have had to file a complaint. Refer this physician to anyone…..NEVER!

This Dr. Is very rude and lacks empathy. He acts like he scared to examine people of color. He comes in and leaves out and never returns! I wouldn't recommend him to anyone! He needs to be in another profession!

I tried to make an appointment to see Dr. Cash who was my PCP at the time. His secretary told me that he was gone for the day they are closing early. When I asked to speak to the nurse the secretary informed me that she is in with a patient. I asked how is the nurse seeing patients if the dr is t there. She hung up on me. I cald her back and ask why the h*** you hung up on me. There's times when the secretary was doing nursing work it made me kind of nervous to find this out seeing that she is not license in medical. Then sometimes I would have extra charges and talk to them about it they would try to come up with excuses instead of admitting to a mistake. Their labs suck they could never find anything really wrong with your samples. My wife whent to another Dr they did labs on her and her family and found out some life changing problems. Thank GOD she stopped going there when she did or she never would have found any issues wrong with her. This is the worse Dr's office i have… ever been to. Because I asked to speak to the Dr about them hanging up the phone and telling me that he left early they refused to see me or my family anymore. That was probably a good thing. My family is doing well and was taken off of some of the meds that was causing some of the problems. If you need a Dr. That's very professional and have a pleasant Dr's visit this isn't that place for your health and well being and the health and well being of your family DO NOT I REPEAT DO. OT TAKE THEM THERE.

This is now my mothers FORMER physician. This man lacks empathy as well as medical expertise in the care of the elderly patient. I am a board certified internal medicine physician and confident in my assessment based on the “care” he has provided. I would never recommend this man to any patient.

Dr. Cash is a wonderful man. I was so happy that he could take care of my grandmother. He came highly recommended, and now that we know him we are very happy with him as our doctor. May God bless Dr. Cash!
