Dr. Catanese has been my cardiologist for the past 15 years. I meant him when I had a heart attach at Westchester Medical center. He has all the attributes a doctor should have and especially a cardiologist. You just know you are in superb hands. After all this time I had to have by pass surgery. Totally unexpected as I am one of those patients whose data doesn’t indicate problems. On pap are I am the I. Great cardiac health. However, because Dr. Catanese listens to his patients he responded to my concern and made sure I had a stress test which led to the surgery. It has been two months and I am on a plane headed to Punta Cana. Thank you, Dr. Catanese. I plan on being your patient till way over my 100 birthday!!!????

Went in for routine cardiac consultation. Dr recommended a cardiac calcium test and advised it was not covered by insurance. Dr. advised that charge for test was $300 and the invoice ultimately was $400. I realize this isn't a large sum of money, but is it too much to ask that you come within 30% of the actual cost for a medical procedure when a patient asks? My opinion is that this shows a lack of concern over the financial implications of patient treatment and makes me personally wonder if the same margin of error should be expected with this doctor's medical evaluation...
