When our son was born with Down Syndrome he was the most compassionate Doctor. We could never thank him enough for treating us so kindly and caring. We have used him for all our children and he has always been an amazing Doctor. We wish we could find out if he is at a new practice.

I too am very sad to hear that Dr. Cavanagh has left the Huntington Medical Group! Does anyone know why? He will be missed, my family and i wish him well in future endeavors!

i am very disappointed to find out that he is not with huntington medical group anymore...I feel like i lost a friend...he has been caring for us for the last 5 years...He is the best! would love to find him if he went out on his own!

Dr. Cavanagh cares deeply for his patients and their families. His warm and welcoming presence invite new parents to feel at ease, even when overwhelmed by the care of a new baby. If you are lucky enough to live in this area, do make an appointment to meet him. If you do not live nearby, make the trip - your child is worth it!

Dr Cavanaugh is wonderful with my children. I never have a problem telling my kids they have to go to the doctor, he is great with them. The office staff is delightful to deal with which is important since you're with them for a long time! Highly recommend this doctor!
