Just released yesterday after 11 weeks from surgery date. Extremely happy to get this in the rearview. From point A to yesterday, I couldn't be more pleased or impressed with Dr. C. and his entire staff. For 30 years, I've unfortunately witnessed the ineptitude of too many medical office staffs that seemingly enjoy having patients spend half their day filling out paperwork and waiting. Dr. Connaughton's office streamlines the process. Fill all that boring paperwork out online. Check in for each appt online, or on your phone. After an initial visit followed by 5 post op visits, I haven't waited in Dr. C's waiting room 15 minutes total. As far as the surgery and recovery, I simply followed his instructions and with the help of home health services, I'm a happy camper today. Thanks so much Dr. C!

From point A to yesterday, I couldn't be more pleased or impressed with Dr. C. and his entire staff. In and out in minutes each visit. Smiles and staff friendliness can't be avoided here. On my last post-op visit, I walked out of the room and checked on an Rx he was going to prescribe. She said, "already called in." That pretty much sums up my experience here. Online forms and check in easy.

Dr. Connaughton gets high marks in every category from office visit consultations to his Colorectal Surgery abilities and timely post op visits in the hospital. I wish I could extend the same accolades to his office staff too but, sadly, and in contrast to Connaughton's great surgical skill and warm, caring personality, they get a failing grade. His office staff is very slow in returning phone calls which added to the anxiousness I felt both before and questions I had after my surgery. I will continue to spread the good word about Dr. Connaughton's superb ability with caution about the poor service from the office/nursing staff.

He was very professional and easy to talk too and provided me with the information necessary for my treatment.

Dr. Connaughton performed a late night emergency appendectomy on me and I was up and walking by 7:00 AM the next day. I have had minimal pain and a very quick recovery. Excellent surgeon and a compassionate doctor.

He made a mistake and nicked my 90 year old mothers bowel. He would not speak with the family after this out patient operation landed my mother in IC for several days. Felt no obligation for this mistake. This cost my mother years of problems. Truthfully I would never recommend this man to anyone. His license should reflect his attitude and ability. I have given him one star because there is no minus selection.

Very professional and really listens to what you say. Takes his time with you and explains everything.

This doctor nicked my elderly mothers bowel and never told us what he had done. We have tried to work with him about a settlement since she was bed ridden after his operation that was to be an outpatient op. He did other work on her without our approval. In fact we specifically told him not to do the second operation and he did it anyway. We got her records and found out and confronted him after trying to talk with him for a long time and then he admitted he had an accident while doing the surgery. My mother was in and out of hospitals for months and the doctor feels no obligation to turn it into his insurance. In fact he feels no obligation to his patient for his mistake sine he repaired it. I would never suggest using this doctor as it appears to us he really doesn't care about damage he does while operating.

Wonderful doctor. Great Bedside manner. Scheduled my surgery right away. Very easy to talk to. I am very glad to have been referred to him.Very pleasant and professional staff.

I want to thank Dr. Connaughton who treated me with true compassion and helped to see me through a very difficult time with my problem of a fistula.Thanks to his knowledge, efforts, and time spent on me, I recovered and healed, and that's the greatest gift. Thank You!
