Dr. James Elliott Conti, MD

Wow- General Dr recommended Dr Conti who works at Eisenhower hospital to check possible internal bleeding. Called for appointment told wait was minimum 5 months. He Graduated medical school from a Barbados college. Don’t waste your time with this doctor, especially if you have a medical problem. Scary!!

You can find another GI. By far the worst doctor

Dr Conti is fine and nice guy.  But after a few appointments he sends you to his horrible assistant, Karalyn Kiest. Talk about incompetent, and she is homophobic and doesn't follow through.  She studied in a bible college, so that's probably why she is so homophobic.  Her appointments are fast and quick just to get rid of you. Why? Because she is homophobic.  She won't reply to your messages and takes over weeks to get an answer from her after you complain and talk to her MA Tyler who is awful and rude on the phone, so there is no trace of it.  When I finally heard back after numerous tries she finally calls me up but of course she was short, rude and unapologetic for not getting back to me sooner. ?How long should a sick person wait back?  Not over weeks.  Also, the front support staff is very unprofessional.  I wish Dr. Conti knew what a horrible homophobic incompetent assistant she is.  I left the practice over her.

Five years ago he was just fine but this time he seems to have changed things so you get very little time with him and his office staff are unfriendly and discourteous. He seeks to not see his patients but just do the colonoscopies, as if the patient is just a number and not a person. I will not go back to this physician. He is running a mill.

Dr. James Conti's consultation fee: $ 245,-- for 20 minutes, if you are a self-paying patient. Later you will receive a bill stating the consultation was 45 minutes, even if he sees you only for 20 minutes. They practice openly fraud. I was seen for barely 20 minutes and paid the fee for 20 minutes (245,-- $), and afterwards I got a bill demanding more money. Greed & Fraud are the standard there. The patient's health is irrelevant. Don't walk, RUN away !

This is a doctor that decided to rewrite my medical condition to be something it was not. He is the only doctor I have ever gone to that did that. He said to me "This shouldn't have happened to you" but it did and when I tried to ask him to look past should not have and help me with the actual problem at hand.... he repeated that. he continued to take his stance. He did not listen. Only felt he knew the answers. And then he charted my diagnosis incorrectly. Would never go back.

I have had 3 colonoscopy procedures and this was by far the best one done by Dr. Conti

It was easy to get an appointment as he has 2 offices. The nurse was very pleasant and seemed to care. Dr. Conti was knowledgeable about my condition. He diagnosed me quickly and I was soon on my way to better health.

I have seen Dr. Conti for two years for Crohn's disease. He is a kind, caring, intelligent, young physician who spends time reviewing/discussing history, medications and treatment plan. I recommend him to all my friends who have GI problems
