I've been seeing Dr. Cook and staff for a few months now. I was sceptical about switching Dr.'s as I had been with my previous Dr. for over 20 yrs. The Staff at Dr. Cooks office welcomes me with a gentle friendly smile each time I walk in the door. They make me feel super comfortable. As does Dr. Cook and NPRN Rebecca. They both take their time with me, listening to me, they answer all my questions and never let me walk out before asking if there is anything else I'd like to discuss. I have been very impressed. I believe I have found my Dr. For the next long haul.

Dr. Cook is by far, the best doctor in town. On my first visit he run a lot of test, electrocardiogram, physical exam, ear, The check in staff was polite and very professional and courteous.Beside his nice and professional bedside manner, he will explain everything to you!

Dr. Cook by far is the best doctor in town , I'm so happy to found him. He really care for his patients. On my first visit, he run a lots of test , physical exam, electrocardiogram, ear exam, he's not scared to touch his patients. He listens to my problem and treats me with professional courtesy. Besides his terrific bedside manner,He explain very well everything so you can understanding what you are going through. I went to multiple doctor until I finally found Dr. Cook, he is the ideal doctor!

dr cook is very good and kind when his daughter worked with him it was a great office staff, now for the last years he has a person named Beverly who is so short and rude with people that's why I quite going to see him its a shame but the truth

Dr. Cook is a great doctor and I have been going to him since his Urgent Care days. The only complaint I have is his staff. Mrs. Horne is a fake and everytime I go in to see Dr. Cook she makes up these outrageous stories and lies constantly. Dr. Cook needs to wake up and pull the shades off his eyes. Numerous patients have left because of this and I am next in line. I love Dr. Cook but it's not worth dealing with this compulsive lier that he so calls his lab tech!

This is one of the best Doctors that I could ever choosen to care of me and my family. Takes time to listen to his patients,and time explaining. The staff is wonderful,and their team work is outstanding!!

Dr. Cook is a doc in the box. Especially his staff! I use to be a patient until his nurse Barbara Horne was convicted of stealing money from elderly people and having insurance policies out on the elderly collecting money. Apparently she has been doing this her whole life according to the Richmond Times Dispatch. She ought to be ashamed of herself along with Dr. Cook. Why would Dr. Cook want someone like this working in his office? He certaintly doesn't care about his patients. BEWARE!!!!!! Spreading the Word!

Has the best staff and everyone there in the office is so friendly. The Dr. has the best bed side manners, understanding,you can talk to him about everything Oh will what can I say Anthem rates in as one of their top five. Check him out he is the best.

I have been a patient of Dr. Cook for about seven years now and there is NO doctor or staff that care anymore about their patients than this office. Unfortunately, I seem to end up with bronchitis every year especially in late fall/early winter and it seems to come on suddenly. I NEVER get told that I will have to wait a day or two for an appointment. They are always willing to do their very best to get me in to be seen even if they have to work me in. As for bedside manner, Dr. Cook is always happy to answer any questions that you have and he truly listens to you and your concerns. He isn't like alot of doctors' that seem to just wanna get you in there, rush you out and go on with their day. I moved out of state to Florida a year and a half ago and refused to change doctors because as far as I'm concerned, I have the best. I'm happy to be back in Virginia now where I know that my doctor is only a phone call away if I need him. THANK YOU to Dr. James Cook and his WONDERFUL staff.
