Very thorough. Remembers me personally and is pleasant. Good doctor. I recommend him to anyone.

Great little family practice

This is the worst experience Ive ever had with a doctor. Dr. Cornwell has a front office girl, Starla, who is rude and unprofessional at every turn. She cuts you off mid sentence and is very argumentative. If you dare complain about her he gets Dr. Cornwell to send you a letter stating that he will no longer treat you. He does not even check on the complaint! He cares more about protecting his staff than patient care. What a horrible doctor!!! Never would I ever recommend this office to anyone.

I needed a new doctor in this area and found this doctor via Effingham Family Medicine and this website. The doctor initially spent time zeroing in on the specific issue I came in for, then spent a good amount of time discussing my overall health, previous issues, and recommendations for going forward. I found Dr. Cornwell to be knowledgeable, and mannerly. I was very satisfied with the visit. He was technicallly savvy and had an up-to-date system to send in prescriptions to my pharmacy and to bring up my case on computer. His staff was careful to get the correct doctor's name that had previously treated me. Good visit considering I was already anxious about being ill and having to go to someone new. I will go to this doctor again. Can't rate the follow up yet...

had a very bad experience with this doc. I wouldnt want him to perform cpr on me even if I was dying!

The staff here are prompt and personal. As if you were being cared for by family. Dr. Cornwell is wonderful. As long as you fully inform him of your issues he will get to the bottom of what is wrong. But to have a good doctor is also to be a good patient. No lying about issues! I have a family of 6 and trust them with our health and medical issues. That is what they are there for and they don't have the catty office issues some offices have. No one is on the higher than thou attitude. Wonderful bedside manner. Even my children love him like a family member! Shots are a lot easier when it comes from someone who cares! Love love love this office! On a 1 to 10 scale where 10 is great.. I give them a 20!
