Dr. James Page Crutcher, MD

I have gone to Dr Crutcher for many years. He did a revision on my right knee, replaced my left knee, and replaced both of my hips. He is always kind, and he is a humble man. On top of that he is a truly brilliant doctor. He is exactly what I look for in a physician.

I am a little over 2 weeks since FKR surgery. After several recommendations from physicians who are also friends, I started planning my right leg surgery with Dr. Crutcher. From the very start, I was impressed with his team, the preparatory instructions and communications leading up to the surgery, and now all the post op care. In his instructions, Dr Crutcher covers the most important as well as the not as well known facts and care that I need to be aware of. I know it will be a long time of self-management in terms of physical therapy and such things as general exercise and swelling to deal with, but I feel confident that with Dr. Crutcher's care and oversight, my leg is on the right path to recovery and use. I feel extremely fortunate to have friends who look out for me and recommended Dr. Crutcher.

I had my right hip replaced 2 years ago and am getting around really well now. And he's a nice guy too. He won't do a surgery unless it's necessary.

Dr. Crutcher is an expert and works with the Mako Surgical Robot for total knee replacement. It is more accurate in making the proper incisions. From what I know, he has always been in the forefront of learning new methods and teaching them. I felt in good hands! The staff and operating room staff are excellent. Dr. Crutcher listened to my input on pain medications and I appreciated that!! I would highly recommend him. I am one day out of surgery and walking with weight on my surgical leg and am pleased.

Outstanding team and service from both the doctor office side and the “surgery suite” side of the house. Absolutely 10 stars out of 5. Dr Crutcher, Eliza, Liz, the Scheduler, the reception staff in the office, Elise and Amanda in a surgery suite, including what I’m assuming are nursing aids total kudos (and thank Elise for the extra bandage on the catheter tube ). As for the one patient who gave Dr. Crutcher, a single star for the alleged actions of who is probably a nurses aid in the recovery room without naming said employee by name. You should probably refrain from giving any reviews anywhere you’ve seen a plastic surgeon about your resting “unhappy” B-face and a brain surgeon about your attitude adjustment..

Dr Crutcher is a kind person who knows how to treat his patients. He’s honest and not pushy about the treatment. I’m in my second day of recovery from knee replacement surgery and so far so good. The pump for the femoral nerve is a Godsend. Too bad it doesn’t last longer.

I found the staff to be very helpful and knowledgeable. Dr Crutcher was very thorough going over all the information and answered all my questions (and I did have quite a few!)

Absolutely AMAZING pre and post op experience. Dr Crutcher was extremely clear and prompt during the pre op meeting and the post op team was spot on with being professional and very caring during my quik recovery before heading home. I will recommend this entire team to anyone in my future needing any sort of hip and joint care that they provide. A huge sigh of relief knowing I have a team I can count on to reach my health and fitness goals.
