Dr. James Wise Culclasure, MD

I was sent to Dr. Culclasure by another wonderful physician in the Jervey Eye Group when I needed cataract surgery. He was always professional, attentive and took the time to explain my condition and what procedure I would need. I had my first cataract surgery without any complications. I now have a cataract in my other eye awaiting the appropriate time for surgery. Dr. C does not rush a patient into surgery (of course, if needed, he certainly would) In my case, he made it clear that I will know when my vision declines and surgery is needed. At that time, surgery will be scheduled. I so admire this trait! I would highly recommend Dr. Culclasure.

Three different ophthalmologists gave me with three different diagnoses and treatments, and my eye kept getting worse. Dr. C diagnosed my problem correctly immediately, and also discovered I had cataracts in both eyes, something the others had not mentioned! He treated the virus in my eye and removed the cataracts from both eyes. I found him to be very knowledgeable and he explained everything clearly about my procedures. Although very busy, he always had time to answer any questions I had. Also, all the staff from check-in to check-out were friendly and professional. I would highly recommend Dr. C to anyone experiencing eye problems.
