Dr. James Adam Dinkel, MD

Because my doctor was booked, I agreed to see a new doctor to the practice. For 6 days I tried using over the counter medicine to feel better which did not work. My symptoms persisted so I knew I needed to see a medical professional. After a brief examination, Dr. Dinkel determined that I had a viral infection and said if I did not feel better in 10 days to come back and see him. I told him that I thought I may need an antibiotic and felt it was bacterial due to the fact that I had already suffered for days prior to seeing him. He immediately said we are done here and walked out of the room. During the exam, he did not care to hear what I had to say nor show any interest in my well being. He was not interested in any of my concerns and belittled me when I tried to tell him my symptoms. When I was trying to voice my concerns, he said we’re done here. Labs do not lie.. when my lab work came back, it showed a bacterial infection. After seeking another opinion from my own physician, it… was determined that I have bronchitis and a sinus infection in which he gave me an antibiotic for. Dr. Dinkel’s lack of care and negligence is unacceptable and goes to show he truly does not care about the patient. Rather than just moving them along as quickly as he can. His display of verbal abuse and belittling a patient is not what a medical professional is supposed to do. His condescending nature toward patients who are very ill are unacceptable by any medical standard.
