I had seen several psychiatric professionals in an attempt to find some relief for anxiety, with no luck. I had a drawer full of failed prescriptions - hardly touched by the time I saw Dr. Donley. He explained that some people lack an enzyme that allows us to properly metabolize the class of meds I'd been prescribed. He referred to my records and said, "You see a Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner, don't you?" When I confirmed I did, he suggested I ask her about medicinal herbs that address anxiety and work differently from the failed prescriptions. I followed his suggestion and was able to stabilize with the help of Chinese medicine. This is 21st century medicine at its best - looking beyond narrow definitions, prescriptions and traditions to employ all available means toward positive patient outcomes.

I have recommended him to two other patients that love him too!The office staff's attitude needs adjusting, not all of them, just one woman in particular.
