Dr. James Dewey Dunn, MD

I had my appendix removed yesterday. Aside from having a run down dilapidated, dirty, and unkept office he has an extremely bad bedside manner. I had no idea what was going on. He doesn’t use computers to document anything. He did a poor job of explaining anything. Acted like he was smarter and better then everyone he came in contact with. He was rude to both myself and my wife throughout the process. He didn’t explain what he was doing and generally acted to busy. I made a mistake choosing him, don’t make the same mistake. Lastly, he sent me home after surgery in pain with ten total of the lowest dose of pain medicine available. When called time speak with him about it he was rude, didn’t listen or care and bluntly stated if I was in pain I should go to the emergency room.

I am thankful to have had Dr. James Dunn as my physician. He truly cares about the outcomes for each of his patients.

Waits were always hours long. Look for someone who will be more professional with your time.

Good dr but long wait times ever time.

Only had one consultation but he seems like a great guy - honest, to the point, attentive...(I'm sure he is a great doctor but)...I had to reschedule the procedure and have a second consultation. For the first meeting, I had to wait 1.25 hours and during the second appointment, the guy in front of me had already waited 45 minutes and the waiting room was packed. I left in search of someone more professional with my time.

You may end up wiring a bit but he is worth the wait. He takes time to listen to you. He genuinely cares about his patients. I feel like he is an wonderful Dr.He answers all of my questions and has a wealth of knowledge. Don't judge him by his staff. They can be unfriendly and rude. It is worth tolerating them to see him.

By far, the best Dr. I've ever had. Very caring man. Very thorough and didnt rush, took time explaining my problem to me. I would highly recommend Dr. James Dunn.

I had my gallbladder removed by Doctor Dunn and couldn't be happier. He was quick to get to me in appointments, and was a lighthearted man. He preformed the surgery fantastically and even listened to my about my odd allergies. Very pleased over all with him!
