He is a nice man, but has a grandiose view of himself. He promised me my life would change and actually it got worse until I was committed to mental hospitals. He refused to recognize his part in all of that and he took money that he said he would not take from me and never returned it. He may help some people, and for a while helped me but didn't recognize that I was getting addicted to him. It's only after being in recovery for 33 years that I began to realize that. Psychoanalysis does nothing for addicts and it seemed to me that he refused to recognize he had limits. As long as he was getting paid everything was fine. When the money stopped coming he abandoned my treatment. Furthermore, he knew that another therapist was sexually abusing me and did nothing about it except let the other therapist use his office to see me when he stopped seeing me. Again, he may help some people, but from what I know now the psychoanalytic approach is really outdated
