I will caveat this by saying that my appointment was pretty overwhelming, so my perception may be skewed. I felt like Dr. Furr did not do a very thorough job explaining why he was recommending that I have my testicle removed or why this was the only option. I felt like there needed to be more explanation for why it had to be done so quickly. There was no discussion about any potential impact on fertility or mitigation against it. I did decide on my own to sperm bank as a mitigation against potential fertility impacts, but this was not brought up at all by any nurse or doctor. I did my own research on impacts to fertility and hormones, but I felt that these things could've been addressed up front when deciding to go forward with the procedure.

When I went into the room the nurse and doctor came right away, I was made very comfortable and explained everything that needed to be done everything lasted 30 minutes, The only thing that would make more sense to me is when a patient drives long distant, and the next procedure is a very easy one why not do it then instead of coming back to get it done
